FORGIVE ME MUMMY FOR BEING BORN A GIRL IN INDIA...!
Forgive me, Mummy for being born a girl in India
You told me to bring back the horses
Today, the horses are back
But I’m not coming back home…
You called me the deer in the valley
But never told me that there are wolves in it
You taught me to love people
But never told me that there are beasts in it
Without knowing anything...
Our cattle are grazing, the streams are flowing,
The Yellow flowers are blooming, blue berries are fading,
Everything is going on as usual...
But not me....Mummy
I still remember,
Every day, when the night falls
How your heart longs for my return
Anxiously looking through the window
For my safe arrival!
Today, the horses are back
But not me…
Forgive me Mummy
For not coming back home
When the beast holds me as a prey
I cried for help
Even though I cried, this world remained silent
This World can silence my voice,
But cannot silence my Justice....Mummy!
