I am walking alone in this journey of life with You, O Jesus
For who can be faithful in this world full of betrayal?
Except You, and You alone, my Lord, no one will
You alone are faithful at all times till the end!
Many have started this journey with me,
But they left in the middle of it…!
Some departed because I lack the beauty they sought;
Their love withered quickly like the grass of the field
Some forsook, for I held not the skills they needed for their gain;
As though relationships were merely a trade
Others left me because my hands held no riches;
To satisfy their selfish desires
Yet! You alone remained at my side,
Through every mountain and every valley of my life!
Your wisdom always whispers within my soul:
Cursed is the man who trusts in the flesh,
For man is but a breath, and his loyalty a passing shadow
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
Whose hope is in the God of Israel,
For he shall never be put to shame
You are the Shepherd of my soul, who walks beside me,
At every step of my life
Your mercy and goodness follow me
All the days of my life…!
Even when all others forsake me,
You have always kept Your promise:
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
