My Misunderstood Savior!

JESUS, MY MISUNDERSTOOD SAVIOR

Being in a humble and lowly manger
Seems to be born out of wedlock
You born to save me
As a misunderstood Savior

Becoming flesh like me
Leaving all Your glory
You lived like a common man
As a misunderstood savior

Carrying my sin and shame
You lived a disgrace life 
To give me the honor of Your child
As a misunderstood savior 

Dying on the ugly cross
Like a condemned criminal
You died to save me
As a misunderstood savior

OH LORD, SMILE UPON ME!

Oh Lord! 

Creator of this universe

Father of Mine

Smile upon me!

Let Heaven be silent

And look upon me!

In this multitude of people, gaze at me

Stoop down to this little child of Yours,

And say into my heart, ‘How much You love me’

Oh Lord! 

Please don't give up on me, to make me like Jesus

Let me dissolve in You forever and ever!

Oh Lord! 

Sustainer of everything

Father of Mine

How sweet You're in this bitter World!

There is none to compare with You

You are full of Love

Like a Father, You carried me so far

And wiped my tears when I cry

It’s Your greatest pleasure to say

I'm Your special treasure!

By carrying my Sin and Shame on the cross,

You smiled upon me, Oh my Jesus!
